French Doors Window Film

Window film is a lot more sophisticated then it was in the early 1960’s. Originally the main objective of having window film installed was to control the temperature imbalances that resulted from solar radiation. As time went on there were new and exciting developments in the window film industry. Some of the improvements included the ability to reduce inferred heat, glare, add privacy, add security, reduce energy costs, and add a decorative touch to a home. Window film expanded to complement architectural designs.

Having French paned doors add an elegant touch to any home. The unique and classy touch of French paned doors also adds property value. Adding window film can increase the value even further.

You can choose from a clear film that won’t obstruct your view, decorative frost for privacy, security film, stained glass, etched glass, abstract and geometric design, floral designs, mosaic’s and many more options. You can go as classy or as eccentric as you would like. Adding a decorative touch to your French paned doors is all about your style.

Decorative film looks just as expensive as decorative glass but at a fraction of the cost. Adding window film is a great way to add décor and privacy to any room. Most of the decorative films offer up to 99% of UV Ray protection. The ultra violet rays are responsible for the fading of floors and furniture. So not only can you achieve a great look you will also be protecting your belongings from fading.

Call us today at (310) 935 – 1748 to schedule a free consultation. We will bring you samples of the different films, measure the glass and answer any questions that you may have.

Conference Room Glass Frosting | Wells Fargo, Irvine

3 Reasons companies add Frost Film to glass walls.

1.) Safety

Glass walls divide a space beautifully, allows a lot of natural light into the office and gives it a sense of openness. If you have beautiful glass walls in your office it has probably happened to someone in the office- walking into a glass wall. Walking into a glass wall is embarrassing, awkward and at times downright painful.

If you’re the business owner watching someone walk into the glass isn’t as humorous and many businesses are taking precautionary measures to keep everyone safe. Businesses contact us constantly to add Frost Film or decals to glass partitions. Adding visible markings will help people see the glass preventing them from running into the glass and protecting your company from potential lawsuits.

2.) Privacy

Adding frost will create privacy by blocking visibility in and out without blocking natural light.

3.) Decor

Adding frost will transform your office – Color printing and custom design available.

We do everything in house and provide completely free mockups. Logos, designs, colors and textures … we can get it done quickly and perfectly.

Heat coming through the windows of this home in Long Beach was a major problem. The homeowners contacted us because they were interested in getting their home ready for the hot days ahead. With heat blasting through their windows, their AC doesn’t catch a break.

Their primary concern was the heat entering through the windows. They were familiar with the application of window film for cars but where not familiar with the application of window film for the home. For heat reduction, the most common and most frequently film we apply is Huper Optik’s Ceramic films. Huper Optik manufactures high grade residential films that are able to withstand the harshest environments, they’re free of dyes, corrosive metals and are warranted not to bubble, fade, peel, or turn purple.

We offer completely free consultations.

Redondo Beach Residential Window Tint – Huper Optik Ceramic 40

Redondo Beach Residential Window Tint

Task:

Reduce glare; block heat entering the home to mitigate hot spots in rooms with direct exposure to the sun; protect furnishings, carpets, flooring, and drapes from fading.

Solution

For this home in Redondo Beach we applied Huper Optik’s Ceramic 40 window tint. Ceramic 40 will block 99.9% of the UV rays which are responsible for damaging furniture and flooring. It also blocks 80% of the sun’s Infrared Heat, and reduces glare by 55%

Huper Optiks Nano-Ceramic 40 is a dye and metal free film. Because this Redondo Beach home is near the ocean, it was important to apply a metal free film that can withstand the corrosive environment. Window films with metal eventually corrode due to the salinity levels in the air.

Huper Optik Ceramic 40 Specs:

UV Light Rejection | 99.9%

Infrared Heat Rejection | 80%

Total Solar Energy Rejected | 55%

Glare Reduction | 55%

How Does Tinting Your Home Windows Improve Your Residence?

There are numerous reasons why you should consider having window film installed in your home and/or business. Reasons vary from improved energy efficiency to heat and UV rejection, protection against vandalism and theft to enhancing the look of the property, to increasing property value to protecting yourself and your belongings from the harm of ultraviolet rays (altos known as UV sunlight).

Windows are a critical part of a location’s aesthetic, both inside and out. Windows determine how much light will be let in as well as what view out is revealed. They also help shape the exterior appearance of a home or business. With these positive attributes come issues, though: the type, number, and location of a property’s windows can dictate how much harm can come to the property through those same windows.

Here are a few reasons why getting window film is a smart move:

Reduced Energy Costs

Window film can help you save money by dramatically reducing your energy costs and through prolonging the life of your interior décor. Windows account for a majority of the heat that enters a home and treated air that escapes it; window film mitigates both of these factors. Everyone loves sunny days but no one enjoys the unbearable heat that comes with them, heat that causes the electric bill to skyrocket. Simply put, sunny days mean turning up the AC to maintain a comfortable temperature in the home or office; getting window film will reduce the amount of heat entering to your home and/or business, thereby reducing your cooling costs. However, if you live in an area where keeping the heat in is an issue, window film can also be a solution for saving costs on heating: window film technology can enhance the insulating properties of your windows and help the warmth you want to preserve to stay inside.

Heat & Glare Reduction

Window film helps people feel comfortable in their home or place of business. There are various types of films to choose from which can block up to 88% of the sun’s glare and 98% of its infrared heat. (Infrared heat is the warmth that you feel radiating through the glass even when the sun is not shining directly on it.)

Protection from UV (Ultraviolet) Light

UV rays are the #1 culprit behind your faded, discolored floors and furniture. UV light not only damages your belongings, but is even harmful to your health. According to the National Center of Biotechnology Information (NCBI), UV rays have toxic health effects, as they have been linked to carcinogens that can cause skin cancer. The American Cancer Association states that most skin cancers are derived from direct exposure to UV radiation.

Privacy

Window film can provide added privacy to your home and/or business. You can have privacy without blocking your view or you can have full privacy that will not allow visibility in or out. When visibility is not issue, a frosted film can be a great solution as it can’t be seen through under any lighting circumstances, day or night, however it will still allows 73% of the sun’s visible light to shine in. A mirror reflective film is a great solution when you are looking for one-way privacy. This film will allow you to have a natural view looking out while preventing people from looking in during daylight hours.

Safety

Security and protective films can provide increase protection against burglary, vandalism, and natural disasters. These types of films can drastically strengthen the windows and provide a barrier between the glass and the interior of your home and/or business. Security and protective films are almost shatter-proof; should the glass be broken, instead of allowing shattered glass to fly through the air, the glass will be held in place.

Property Value Increase

Window film does more than just protect a home and make a room more comfortable. It adds style and glamour without large costs and without the invasive nature of a renovation. There are many decorative films that can transform any glass panel into a design feature. Adding a decorative film can allow a window to imitate an expensive piece of glass or other material, and is a great way to get the look you want at a fraction of the cost.

We service Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County metropolitan areas with residential window film and serve the entire United States with commercial window film products and installation services. We are open 365 days a week and offer completely free consultations. We will bring you samples, measure the glass, and answer any questions that you may have.
